Prayer Lock

You meant to pray. Then you checked your phone — and twenty minutes were gone.

Prayer Lock

Prayer first. Everything else can wait.

Choose distracting apps to block and a daily prayer-time goal. Prayer Lock uses time in Marian and any prayer apps you select to count toward that goal.

  1. Pick the apps that pull you awayInstagram, TikTok, YouTube — you choose.
  2. Choose how long to praySet a daily goal, like 10 minutes.
  3. Spend time in Marian — or selected prayer appsTime in Marian counts automatically. You can also select other apps, such as a Bible or Liturgy of the Hours app.
  4. Your apps unlock when you meet your goalOnce the selected app time reaches your daily goal, the blocked apps unlock for the rest of the day.

Prayer Lock counts app time; it does not verify that you are praying. You choose which apps count, which apps to block, your minutes and active days. Built on Apple’s Screen Time, your app choices stay on your device. Prayer Lock is part of Marian Patron.
